So perusin' SD Gundam Force...

... and episode 26, the main bad guy, Commander (ohsooriginal),  makes this comment:

*quote*
Alright, no more mister nice villain.
*unquote*

*wide-eyed blink* Did I miss somethin'? There are nice villains?

On another note, the voice work from the musical Wicked? Awesome, nothin' short of it. Makes me wish I could've seen it when it was on Broadway.

......................

I swear, the next drunk I see within the next 48 hours I'll deck. Nothin' against drunks, I know some cool ones; and I have no problem with servin' them at 2:30 in the mornin. However...

I draw the line at havin' them dump half-eaten food all over me.

For the MMX fans out there...

.... Or, to be more specific, the ones who didn't run away screamin' their heads of in outrage after MMX7 was released. But I'm not gettin' into that debate. I came across this website via one of Star-ninja's journals on dA, and figured I'd help spread the word over here. If anybody actually pays attention to this thing, that is. The followin' has been yanked from the About section of the website (meanin' this is purely borrowed stuff to help you decide to click on the glowin' yellow link above) :-

-----------------

In numerous interviews done by people talking to Capcom representatives regarding Mega Man 9, other Mega Man revivals are often brought up such as Mega Man X9 and Mega Man  Legends 3. In all of the interviews, whenever someone asks the possibility of a Mega Man X9, Capcom almost always responds by saying that if they see enough fan demand and passion, then we might see that day. Just to quote one of those interviews...

Ryan Scott (1UP) - "Will we ever be lucky enough to get a Mega Man X9 -- but with Super NES era graphics and music?"

Hironobu Takeshita (Producer of Mega Man 9) - "It all depends on fans' demands! We might see that day, as long as there is passion!"

MegaManX9.com was made to be a gathering place for faithful fans of the Mega Man X series to show Capcom that the fan passion does indeed exist. I hope that we as a community, can project our passion and appreciation of the X series to Capcom and hopefully persuade them to continue. They might be weary on the sales of the X series due to Maverick Hunter X and other recent titles, but I believe that if they release a downloadable X title, like Mega Man 9, it would have fantastic sales. After all, who wants to pay $50 for a game you can beat in two hours? A downloadable title would not only be a lot cheaper and convenient for the consumer, but for Capcom as well.

After X8 there are many question left unanswered, even some from prior installments.

Will we ever know...

Will Axl be taken over by the purple shard left from Lumine's attack?

Will such lead to Axl becoming the true "child" of Sigma?

Is Sigma truly defeated for good?

Will Zero finally be left to his awaited slumber?

What is to become of X's "Elysium" ideal?

When will the Elf Wars begin?

... and those are just some among the many others scattered about the intricate storyline. The only way that they might be answered is by the desire of the fans in hopes that another game will be made.

That being said, we hope that MegaManX9.com will act as a beacon for all X fans to come together and light the way for another epic sequel. As this site continues on as a place for fans of all kinds, we hope it will also be a place of proof that the passion hasn't died a bit.

Please enjoy your visit and thank you for your contributions.

... On another note, man, I wish it'd rain properly or somethin' - this humidity is a killer. Literally.

Newspaper articles

Now normally I don't pay much attention to what the papers have to say - frankly, it all seems to be the same thing printed over and over each day. But the HotTopic is always changin' based on what the reader wrote, and today's one caught my attention:

Violent start to the year

SO modern Homo sapiens (that's us) think of ourselves as moral and ethic beings.
Think again.
On October 14, 1066 the armies of Harold King of England and William the Duke of Orange at the battle of Hastings shot missiles at each other, then slashed each other with sharpened swords until King Harold was shot through the eye and William became William the Conqueror, King of England.
No women or children were slaughtered, only combatants.
Meanwhile in the Gaza Strip, 41km long and 9km wide inhabited by 1.5 million peoples, that's 17 per acre, to kill a Hamas leader required the death of two of his wives and four of his children.
Happy New Year to one and all.

 Damnit, just ow. . .

I hate being female. Loathe it  isn't even strong enough.

In other news, we have a show called 20 to One on one of our television stations. It goes through the top twenty for a specific theme. Top twenty karaoke songs, emabressin' moments, stunts and show-offs, etc.

. . .

Next weeks theme is Pranks and Pranksters. I have on word:

Sideswipe.

A while back, in this post , I showed how many of my stories often start out. Sometimes as a few paragraphs from the beginnin', middle or end somewhere, sometimes just as notes to myself. This time, I'm goin' to show how they look when the basic story is written down, when all that's left is the fleshin' out of the characters and surroundin's.

Warnin': This story has yet to go through the full paces and fleshin' out. Characters are out of character, and no surroundin' is mentioned. Read only if you don't mind fairly terrible stories.

uncompleted. )
I did warn you. Anyhow, this is a story about half-completed. You'll see what I mean when the final product is posted.

And I just realised, what a waste of a perfectly good post. >.< Please ignore.

The Touch

It's all the fault of this picture and it's Artist's Comments.

And to think, it only took one little picture to start that story off. *sighs* Almost wish I had writers block again.

And because it seems to be a popular meme-thing...

Rules are simple. Go through your playlist - Media Player, iTunes, whatever, and put the song titles in order to the questions.

Oh, so I like Bon Jovi. Sue me.

And when was the last time anyone else heard the song I'm currently listenin' to?

Anniversary

Yesterday was the one-year anniversary of Steve's death, and we held a minute's silence for him. He deserves more. But what hurts the most is that so many people seem to have forgotten him so quickly. It would've hurt him too. So what's the world comin' to?

N/A

Guess I feel a bit better now. Probably mostly due to a big guilt complex. I know a lot of people have got it off worse than me, a lot worse than me, and I shouldn't have been complainin' and whinin' so much. Guess it's partly because my baby brother's in hospital due to bein' punched by a kid at school and endin' up in hospital for almost a fortnight because his braces almost went completely through his cheek; partly because a couple of people on DA - lacitar13, JazzChyk and a few others - have lives a hell of a lot worse than mine; partly because I know I don't need help, but sometimes it's nice to know that others care.

Yeah, I feel a hell of a lot better now. Seriously.

Request and the Usual

So, as anybody who's read Red Moon Rising knows, I also have an account on dA - Deviant Art - and lately I've been takin' requests from people over there. So, here's the list and what I've been able to come up with so far. Mind, these are in the order from the one I'm likely to finish first, to the one I'm likely to finish last, and all are still very much in the extreme beginnin's of bein' written. They will all be double-checked, triple-checked, and possibly quadruple-checked before bein' posted. I go through a lot of trouble to try and make my stories decent and somewhat enjoyable, so please, please, PLEASE do not steal any of these. Now that that's out of the way, I give you the list. Mind, it is fairly short.

2. Request by a good friend of mine. A request I'm quite sure that she knows will drive me in no uncertain terms insane.

She has requested a GCM fic. For those who don't know, that is a Gay Chibi Megatron fic. She requested that somehow the GCM has gotten into Autobot base and is covetin' Bluestreak. Of course, the twins find out, and everythin' gets shot to Heck. With one of Wheeljack's inventions.

**Title Under Progress**

-- --
dove behind a startled Smokescreen, whimpering quietly.

"Blue? What's wrong?" The red and blue mech tried to turn, but the hands clamped onto the side of his chassis prevented it.
"Is he still there?" was the quiet whisper.
"Who?"
"That.... that thing."

Confused optics turned towards the empty doorway, and Smokescreen shook his head.
"The only people here are us. Blue, what the fragging Pit is wrong? I thought you were going with the twins to Oregon today for the meteorite shower."
"We were. Until that... creature showed up."
"Okay Blue, I'm going to ask you one more time. What thing?"

Terrified optics were suddenly staring at him, and Smokescreen wondered if he really wanted to know.
"A mini Megatron..."
----------------------------------------------------------------

3. Request by Hellsfirescythe.

S/he would like a Perceptor fic while Ultra Magnus's group are still on Cybertron, with a cameo from her OC, Synapse.

This fic is still in the pre-desgn stages.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Well, that's all for now. I might have time to add some more later before bed, but those are all the requests. I wish I had some time to put down my ideas though, 'cause I'm goin' insane!

I... am scary? Erm....

....... No, honestly, someone who's known me since primary school actually called me terrifyin' the other day. Terrifyin'. The reason? I laughed. Yep, laughed. Mhmm, o.k., just because I don't show that much emotion and laugh probably once in a blue moon, doesn't make me terrifyin'.

Why did I laugh? Y'see, of a Friday afternoon we have sports. Some of them are oval sports, like soccer or Outpost. A few of them, like walkin' and tennis, need buses to take us places. That's the reason I laughed. When the buses come into the school grounds, they need to cross a smallish bridge. Only, I think the driver of the walkin' bus forgot where the bridge was. So, while turnin' into the school grounds, the front and back left tires completely miss the bridge and ended up in the ditch. There was a great big bus half hangin' off this tiny little bridge on the craziest angle I've ever seen. Reaction called for? I cracked up. Now I'm officially the scariest person in the school. Gah, I give up. Half the time they tell me I show to much emotion, the other half they say I'm emotionless, and when I do show any hint of emotion they think Armageddon has come. There's just no pleasin' some people. *sigh* Still, it's good to now that people care whenever I do somethin' outside of my usual self.

Time for another snippet. This is from a fic that's been swirlin' around my head for a few years now. I know, I know, people seem to do a lot of 'What happened in their past, how they were created, what shaped them into who they are as we know them' fanfics, but hey! We're all allowed to indulge. Since this is long(ish) already, I'll put it behind a cut.

Band, Amp, Stormbreaker and Sentrilex belong to me. Unless Hasbro has already created them, in which case I am usin' them in a ficbit in which they are probably OOC. But otherwise, they belong to me. Hope it isn't too bad. I've been stuck on that scene for a little while now, and had to put it down somewhere before it drove me nuts.

Ages are as follows:
Amp (dead, yes, I know) is their creator. She's about eight or nine millions years old. Stormbreaker is the eldest of the three, bordering on three million years -- he's one and a half million years older than Jazz, who is the middle creation and is obviously around one and a half million years. Band is really young younger than Jazz by about nine or ten millenia, makin' her around five or six millenia old. I said she was young. Don't know whether to turn this into a fully-fledged fic or not. Comments, crits, and anythin' else is welcome. I don't care when you read this, whether it's in a few days or in a few years, please comment somehow. Cheers.

Blah... Today just isn't my day...

I have nothin' against parents. Really, I think they are doin' a great job in raisin' us kids. Most of them, anyhow. But sometimes I hate them. No reason, really. I just... hate them.
This is posted up somewhere else, too. It's set just after Autobot City was completed.

...................................

Kinda wishin' my dad was in Wheeljack's position at the moment. Just not in Rachet's capable hands.

Different note: we got a letter from 'Becca, in Emerald. 'Parrently she hates her new -- public -- school. The teachers are awful and the students are even worse. She wishes she was back here in Bundy. I wish she was too. Nothin's the same anymore. I feel like I'm a stranger in my own home town. Really hope she stays safe. Please be careful 'Becca.

Camping, school, and general things

Sometimes things you love to do just wear off, and you don't love them anymore. In fact, sometimes you can end up hatin' them. That is my current problem/advantage.

School camp is on this week. Actually, it started on Tuesday. I used to love campin'. The great outdoors, fresh air, sleepin' under the stars, all that stuff. Only, I seem to have lost my love for it. Thus my current predicament. See, camp is compulsory, no choice, but there's somethin' like half the two combined classes not goin'. Now apparently the school's gonna ring the parents of the students not goin', but they haven't yet. So, that's the problem part.

The advantage part is that we have a SOSE project due next week, and that's an extra week that I have to work on it. Guess what? The school don't see it that way. Nor does my lil' bro. He thinks it unfair that I get an extra week at home on top of the 3 weeks we just had for mid-year holidays. Sucks to be him. Though, I am slightly smug about it, I must admit.

Off of the camp topic, but still on school, in one of our classes on Monday our teacher, Mr Hum, was tellin' us how best friends would risk their friendship to make sure their friends don't do anythin' stupid. What was funny was, he told us his best friend had done that in high school with him. He told us that his friend told him,
" Hummy, you don't want to do that."
Only, it didn't come out soundin' like 'Hummy', it came out soundin' like 'Honey', and he wondered why everyone started crackin' up. I don't think anyone's gonna be explainin' it any time soon, though.

Once more, I am rantin'. ^_^ I can't help it, I need to get it outta my system somehow! Now, I really should start on that SOSE assignment. Oops. o_o

Snippets

These are mainly little ideas that I might formulate into one-shots later on. If they do turn into one-shots, than any help you would like to give, or any more ideas to build up on these ones, are more than welcome. The word/s in bold at the top just describe the general genre of the snippets. Enjoy.

So Life Continues... Raincheck, anyone?

One more day and then back to school. So excitin'. <--NB: Am bein' sarcastic. Failin' in school, currently. Ever felt like ya're the sole black dot in a colony of white? Yep, that's how school affects me. The bus system is another problem. Accordin' to the school, we're s'pposed to have passes to show the driver to prove it's been pre-paid. Only, a friend's relative is co-owner of the bus company, and she recons that we don't need passes, so now everythin' needs to be organised by Monday, and Sunday the depot's closed. Joy.

Also havin' some strange weather here. It's rainin' on-and-off, and it normally doesn't rain this time of year. I love meteorologists. Really I do. The fact that I have an axe and would like to---. Well, ya get the idea. Grey skies, cool nights, and wet days. My mood is improvin' each second.

One more thing on the school topic. I HATE sose. Oh, don't get me wrong, I love learnin' about the environment, world wars, Napoleon, politics. Well, maybe not politics, but you get the point I'm makin'. I just HATE sose. It's a rotten class. So. That's all for the day. Enjoy ya day. Or night, dependin' on where ya live.

P.S.---- Yes, all of the above is pointless dribble, so skip it if ya don't like readin' dribble. Cheers.

Oh...

So this is Live Journal? Heard about it, read about it, never actually seen it. Pretty cool. So you're basically keeping a journal, right? Now I feel sheepish. I don't know what goes in a journal. Guess I'll just pick it up as time goes on. Time to go exploring. Exit, stage left.
